Mentoring
True Butterflies Foundation provides mentoring support for people affected by domestic abuse, with a focus on helping survivors and families rebuild confidence, regain independence, and move forward. We support the whole family in our long term approach.
Key areas of mentoring support include:
-
One-to-one emotional support — providing a safe space to talk, reflect, and feel heard.
-
Building confidence and self-esteem — helping individuals recognise their strengths and rebuild their sense of self.
-
Practical guidance — supporting people as they navigate life changes after abuse, including rebuilding routines and independence.
-
Empowerment and goal setting — helping survivors identify personal goals and take steps towards a safer, more positive future.
-
Family support — recognising that domestic abuse can affect children and wider family members, with support aimed at helping families heal together.
